HOLA, SEPTEMBER!

Good evening, you alls! It is a brand new month and I have decided to start anew regards with my hobby of blogging/writing/sharing. This blog would contain nothing from yesterday, the week or the year before mainly because I wish to look from today and for tomorrow.

The past few months have been just me, family, a few good friends and school of course. Not forgetting the routine of school-home-pray. I am liking it this way and whatever comes after, lets meet when it does.

Back to topic, hey hey hey it is September 1st. That was fast, 2016! Oh and happy teacher's day to all you educators who are rocking while shaping every other individual into a better person in academics and character.

Today, I dropped by the Sephora outlet at Ion Orchard with my sister in the intention of getting my MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation however to my disappointment, MAC is no longer a part of this Sephora after the recent renovation :( Thus, as I was already contemplating on whether I should try using the new favourite Kat Von D's Lock-It range; Lock-it powder foundation, I took it as a sign and decided to give it a go. (May god bless my SENSITIVE skin)

I wanted assistance in figuring which is the shade which would be appropriate for me however almost all the staff seemed unapproachable and I decided to apply the testers and identify my shade myself. What frustrated me further was when I walked towards one of the beauty adviser's to ask for assistance in getting me the new product in the shade which I want, she intentionally walked across me ignoring my "Hi!" and the rest whom I spotted nearby tried avoiding eye-contact as well.

Being me, I wanted to just leave but fortunately I was approached by a courteous(the only one) male beauty adviser who willing lent me a helping hand, asked me to check if the product is as new as it should be and even prompted me to check if I have my membership card with me. Trust me, if not for this sweetheart, I would have not purchased anything from there today.

Oh wells, I have been a loyal customer to MAC, I shall see how this formula works on me. It looked decent and impressive while I had tested it but on a long run, I am unsure.
Loots from Sephora: Kat Von D's lock-it powder foundation, body sponge(s), NYX's pore filler for my sister(What's hers is mine :P)

After the financial damage done over at Sephora, we were passing by Yankee Candle and guess who could not resist just walking pass? Yes, I did step in with my nose doing its job non-stop. I did enter with the aim of getting my favourite "Midsummer's Night" in at least its smallest size and naughty Sheevangi did so. The smallest size of the candles which burn 4-6 hours without a glass/candle holder were going at 3 for $9.90 while 1 is for $4.90 which made me want to purchase 3 instead. 1 for me, 1 for mommy and 1 for the sister. I do not feel that guilty this way, hehe.

Apparently, when I had mentioned that I love this scent, my sisters went "It smells like men, men's cologne, now we know what you like", grrrrrr.

Yankee Candles; Midsummer's Night and Bahama Breeze.

That's pretty much about it. The first day I have been out to shop since my holidays started and probably the last till my trip to India. Have a good night, you alls!

Sending love,
